The Copper Coast Region (Kadina-Moonta-Wallaroo)
The Copper Coast is famous for having some of South Australia's best holiday beaches.
This region of the Yorke Peninsula, located in South Australia and comprising town such as Kadina, Moonta, Wallaroo,Paskevilleand Port Hughes, is rich with history and thriving with coastal developments.
Its many attractions and accommodation make it an ideal tourist destination for both local and International visitors.
The District Council of the Copper Coast was formed in May 1997 with the amalgamation of the District Council of the Northern Yorke Peninsula and the Corporation of the Town of Wallaroo.
The Head office of the council is located in Kadina and branch offices in Moonta and Wallaroo.

situated 70 km north of Adelaide, South Australia. A short 1 hour drive finds
you at Nuriootpa right in the heart of Australia's famous Barossa
Valley. Ideally situated to Tanunda and Angaston.

Barossa Valley.

camper-trailer or tent. This is the perfect place to make your base, from
here you can enjoy visits to the many Barossa Valley wineries, restaurants,
lookouts, arts and crafts, historic cottages and walks. Only 8 mins drive to
Tanunda and Angaston.
The township of Nuriootpa has good local shopping
facilities including a major supermarket within comfortable walking distance
and is only a short distance from Tanunda. For the more energetic there are
tennis courts, walking/bike trails, ovals and a swim centre (the local pool
is situated 200m from the park entrance).
